London South Bank University (LSBU) and the London Housing Foundation (LHF) have worked together to develop a part-time postgraduate certificate for up and coming senior managers working in the homelessness and housing sector.
The course will provide senior managers and aspiring leaders in the voluntary housing sector with vital organisational and leadership skills in a third sector context. It was designed in consultation with a board of delegates from a number of leading housing charities and counts towards staff’s continuing professional development.
We are delighted that the first two cohorts have now completed the programme with outstanding results – 100 per cent pass rate including a number of distinctions and merits. These are a great set of grades and we congratulate all the participants. The course has evolved over the first two years and final feedback has been good.
Andrew Summers, the LSBU Course Director said “ I can’t recall an examination board ever before awarding everyone in a cohort of this size a merit or distinction. This reflects the calibre of participant and the effort they put in. The group were a pleasure to work with. They have clearly gained considerably from the programme and are all to be congratulated.”
The second programme has now finished and the results have matched the great success of the first cohort with 100% pass rate including four distinctions.
