The LHF supports innovation

and funds good ideas

To help with this we give grants to individuals working in the homelessness sector to travel and learn from others.

The London Housing Foundation is keen to enable managers working in the homelessness sector to expand their knowledge and learn from innovative work in other cultures, organisations or contexts.

LHF invites applications for Personal Development Grants to undertake study trips both here in the UK and abroad.  We believe that giving managers this opportunity will both benefit them personally and help their organisations understand how others are addressing similar problems.

Study trips can either be for individuals or small groups.  The participants will organise the trip themselves, and our grant will cover travel and living expenses up to £2,500 per person. Participants will be required to provide a full written report on the visit (within one month of the visit) for the LHF Board of Directors.

In the first instance please contact Cassandra Karanjia outlining the reasons why you believe you would benefit from such a grant, including your preferred destination and an outline of costs. You should also confirm that your organisation is happy for you to undertake such a study visit.
