LHF and Centrepoint working with families to prevent youth homelessnessDecember 10, 2013 12:00 pmA grant award of £20,000 from the London Housing Foundation is being used by the youth homelessness charity Centrepoint to fund a project to help families and reduce homelessness. The Family Mediation and Reparation Pilot Project, based in Centrepoint’s Lewisham Assessment Centre, is aimed at improving family relationships and the relationship skills of young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The project will help families and young people before problems escalate, preventing future homelessness and saving public money. New Free Financial Advice Service from the LHFAugust 26, 2013 12:00 pmThe London Housing Foundation, which offers grants and provides research services to benefit the homeless, is now offering free expert financial advice for small homelessness agencies. The LHF, which has distributed millions of pounds to homelessness agencies over the past few years, has been collecting financial data on the sector for some time.
