London Homelessness Foundation (LHF) does not provide direct housing support or advice to individuals, please see the information below to get help from external services.

If you are at risk of or experiencing homelessness, contact your local council’s housing options service; enter the area where you are into the box on LHF Atlas Housing Options map and you will be given contact details for your local council.

Shelter Emergency Helpline

This is a national service for those experiencing housing problems and homelessness. There is a free phone helpline 0808 800 4444 as well as advice via the website.

Day Centres

If you are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness, it may be helpful to contact a local day centre. You can find your closest day centre here website or here.

Streetlink

If you are currently rough sleeping or you are concerned about someone who is sleeping outside, you can contact Streetlink.
