LHF / LSBU Post Graduate Course
London Housing Foundation sponsors a unique one-year part time post graduate course in leadership and management for the housing and homelessness sector provided by London South Bank University.
Since 2015, managers in homelessness services from over 40 organisations have enrolled on the course. Results have been very impressive with 32% achieving distinctions, 60% merits and 8% high passes. Over a third of students have gained promotion, usually within their own organisations.
Students have told us that the benefit of undertaking study with a group of people all working in the same field and towards the same ends cannot be understated. There is so much learning to be had from each other.
The course offers modules on:
- Leadership and Management
- Finance for Non-Finance Managers
- Organisational Development
- Governance, Risk and Ethics
Students not only gain a post graduate qualification from the School of Business at London South Bank University with a strong academic foundation but also develop networks of learning and influence. Graduates of the course are eligible for ongoing professional development from LHF and travel bursaries.
Employers benefit by gaining accredited expertise and enhanced confidence in middle and senior managers and see new motivation for staff.
