The Croydon Gateway Scheme, which helps prevent households from experiencing crisis and needing statutory services, has been commended in the prestigious 2018 London Homelessness Awards. The project focusses on early intervention and prevention and assists residents that are homeless, at risk of homelessness or struggling financially. It moves the innovative Gateway approach into the community, helping prevent homelessness and build community resilience.
The team have made a short film to explain what the project does and the difference it makes.
The commendations will be awarded at a very special event at City Hall on 18th October, with the prizes presented by James Murray, Deputy Mayor. For more information go to www.lhawards.org.uk or For more information, pictures or interviews please contact Mark Wall firstname.lastname@example.org
