LHF and Pact: Supporting Families and Reducing OffendingAugust 26, 2013 12:00 pmGrant awards totalling £360,000 from the LHF has allowed the Prison Advice and Care Trust (PACT) to help keep families together when one member is in prison.
Andy Keen-Downs of Pact said “All the evidence shows that if we can help keep families together and supporting each other, then the risk of reoffending is massively reduced. Our staff, partly paid for by the grant from the LHF, help people stay in touch when someone is serving a prison sentence.”

Look Ahead’s “Experts through Experience” programme shortlisted for LHF funded Andy Ludlow AwardAugust 26, 2013 12:00 pmAn innovative training programme for staff at Look Ahead Care and Support, designed and delivered by customers who have used their services, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Andy Ludlow Awards, sponsored by the London Housing Foundation.
The “Experts by Experience” Team provides user-led training to support and care staff. Developed and delivered by customers, it is based on their personal experience of homelessness and other related issues including substance misuse and mental health needs.
